Family: Christa & I were married in 1994. Cody & Taylor joined us in 1998. Caleb came along in 2001. 

Education: B.A. in History with a minor in Communications at Mount Vernon Nazarene University. Masters in Pastoral Counseling at Ashland Theological Seminary.

Where I grew up: Just outside the south end of Columbus, in Hamilton Township.

Why I love New Life: I love the spirit of the people. We are a group of imperfect people who are walking through life together as we follow God's leadership. I also enjoy the fact that many of us are not just individuals who happen to go to the same church but there's a real since of being a spiritual family that takes our relationships to a deeper level.

What God is teaching me: God is continuing to teach me to see through many of the things in life that we spend so much time worrying about to helping me see the things that really are important in our time here on earth; especially in the area of relationships with Him and those around me.

Family: I’ve been married to April since 1989. Tyler was born in ’91 & Alysa in ‘92

Education: BA in Music from Mount Vernon Nazarene University, with a minor in Christian Education. I’m part way through a Master of Ministry program.

Where I grew up: Gallipolis, Ohio (southeast corner of the state)

Why I love New Life: We are not afraid to take chances and try different things for the sake of the Kingdom. There is great unity and an air of anticipation and excitement about what God is doing and will do next. We don’t try to be everything to everyone, but focus on our strengths and what we feel God has called and blessed us to be.

What God is teaching me: People are broken, lonely, and needy. He is bigger than anything that comes our way. Prayer is the key to everything. Obedience is critical.

Family: My husband Ryan and I have been married since June, 2008 and we don't have kids yet!:)

Education: I graduated from MVNU with a degree in Christian Education.

Where I grew up: Findlay, Ohio

Why I love New Life: I love the PEOPLE! Since I first started attending here, New Life felt like home to me. I love that our church family wants to serve others and that they are willing to do whatever it takes to follow God's will. I also love that our church family is committed to our kids!!

What God is teaching me: To live a life of praise each day, and He is helping me to remember that I am His special chosen creation!

Education: B.A. in Ministerial Missions with a minor in Military Science from Olivet Nazarene University. Master of Divinity (Chaplaincy) from Liberty University Theological Seminary.

Where I grew up: Wheelersburg Ohio

Why I love New Life: Deeply committed students and adults moving forward with the same vision and mission.

What God is teaching me: How to be a good Father and husband. God is also teaching me how to develop leaders and authentic Christ followers.
